UC IGETC F.A.Q

What is a UC IGETC?

The Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) is a series of courses that California community college students can complete to satisfy all General Education requirements (except Upper Division Writing) before transferring to most colleges and majors at UC campuses.

You can check your DegreeWorks to see if it is marked off. For an example of what that looks like, click here.
You can contact UCI Admissions to see if one has been submitted. If the UC IGETC is on file, please submit a DegreeWorks Update form so our counselors can notate it's completion.
You may contact your community college and have them do (1) of the following:

Submit an official UC IGETC to UCI Admissions. Once Admissions processes the UC IGETC, please submit a DegreeWorks Update form
